You should talk to Kirstie Pike, of Prois, who had a last minute appendicitis attack right before she was scheduled to hunt in northern Minnesota last fall. I think that would have made a most-excellent story ... trying to find an ER quickly, with access to an operating room, in the wilds of Minnesota. She was up and back on the trail again soon afterwards, and I hope you will be, too!
